Pipe connection, especially for vehicle heat exchanger water box

The connection has a spigot (5) which the end section of the pipe (7) can plug-in to. The pipe has a circumferential groove (10) around its plug-in end. A safety catch (1) prevents the pipe being pulled out. This catch comprises a sprung fork with two tines (1b,1c) which engage the groove and project out from it. The projecting out parts fit into sections (14a,14b) of the spigot, and may elastically yield, preferably when their tine's outer ends (1d,1e) are pressed together.
