The invention concerns a roller skate with a boot, the sole of the boot comprising, in the front foot region, a rigid front sole section with front rollers and, in the rear foot region, a rigid rear sole section with at least one rear roller, a flexible centre sole section being formed between the sole sections. A particularly natural and pleasant movement develops when the roller skate is used in that the front rollers are disposed on the underside of the front sole section such that they are distributed in a planar manner so as to form a substantially triangular or trapezoidal rolling surface with a forwardly directed vertex, the front roller defining the vertex being disposed substantially below the second and third toes of a foot wearing the boot, and/or in that the front sole section is angled.
