Mixing and kneading machine for pasty or dough materials

Material in pasty or dough form is mixed and kneaded in a machine having a tub rotatable about a vertical axis and containing guide bodies. The tub has a closure body (3) which is rotatable and lowerable in a cylinder (10) positioned centrally with respect to the tub axis. The wall of the cylinder has an opening (11) for discharge of the kneaded or mixed material. Preferably the closure body is conical in shape with the tip of the cone facing upwards and a moulding member may be provided, extending to the central axis of the closure body and extendable and retractable or foldable, to direct material the discharge opening.
