Open end spinning machine

In an open-end spinning machine a running disc (1) for optical control of a spinning start-up-cart has, facing a light source, at least one reflective region in otherwise non-reflective disc surface (2). When the cart optically detects interruption of the disc rotation about an axis (4a) the cart's start-up programme begins. One or more reflector(s) (3) are attached with shape interlock and lie in direct contact with the disc's surface. Also claimed is a reflector with, at the free end of its peg, a locking piece which bears against the disc to hold the reflector in place after pushing its peg through a drill-hole in the disc.
