The method involves processing of objects (2) which comprise at least one rectangular cross-section, and includes at least one processing step, in which a first dimension (Xz) is used, which is measured along a first axis (Z) with respect to an point of origin, coinciding with a first side of the object vertically to the first axis. The first dimension is transformed into a corresponding second dimension (Xq), measured along a second axis (Q) parallel to the first axis with respect to the point of origin, coinciding with a second side of the object, which is parallel to the first side as well as opposite to it.
