<p>An over edging apparatus for single cloth piece products such as handkerchiefs comprises a pressing plate (30) for pressing a material (W) being processed on a sewing base (20), a guide beam (60) supporting a rotating shaft (40), which is integral with the pressing plate (30) and movable lengthwise, a rotary member (80) provided integral with the top end of the rotating shaft (40), and a guide rail (90) for guiding a plurality of guide rollers (81) provided on the rotary member (80). Only reciprocation of the guide beam (60) produced by a single drive source (70) effects advancement and rotation through a predetermined angle of the pressing plate (30) through the rotary member (80), and over edging is performed by advancing and rotating movements of the material (W) being processed.</p> |
