<p>An automatic focusing device by which zoom tracking curves for intermediate object distances are corrected without increasing the memory capacity. A plurality of zoom tracking curves L1(Z) and L2(Z) corresponding to a plurality of different object distances and correction data α(Z) are stored in a memory (16). A controller (10) performs predetermined interpolation by using the stored zoom tracking curves and the correction data and calculates a corrected zoom tracking curve L(Z) for an object distance which is different from the object distances. The tracking control of the focus is performed in accordance with the calculated zoom tracking curve.</p> |
