<p>The present invention relates to a method for producing foamable organosilicon compositions, wherein said method comprises mixing an organosiloxane rubber (OR), an organosilicon cross-linking agent (CA) and a modifier (M). This composition uses as OR polyorganosiloxane block copolymers of the formula {[R1SiO1,5]a [R2(OH)SiO]¿b?, [R?3R4SiO]¿c}n where R?1, R2, R3 and R4¿ represent aliphatic aromatic radicals with 1 to 6 carbon atoms, n is an integer between 30 and 360, c is 1, a is selected in an interval between 0.019 and 3.760, and b is selected in an interval between 0.008 and 0.240. This composition may also use as OR a mixture of the above-mentioned block copolymers with an α,φ-dihydroxypolydiorganosiloxane in a proportion of (0.05-0.5) : 1. This composition uses as CA individual compounds or mixtures of polyorganohydridesiloxanes of the general formula R3SiO[R1(H)SiO]¿m? - [R2SiO]nSiR?3¿ or one or more substances chosen among compounds of the general formula RSiX¿3? where R and R?1¿ represent an alkyl radical with 1 to 6 carbon atoms or CH¿2?=CH- and X represents -ON=C(CH3)2 or -OC(O)-CH3. This composition finally uses as M amines of the formula R?1R2N-(CH¿2)n-Si(OR3)3 or a mixture of sodium bicarbonate with zinc oxide or, alternatively, an inorganic cobalt compound. Those components to be mixed are selected in the following amounts for 100 weight parts of OR: 100 of OR; from 2 to 15 of CA; and from 2 to 22 of M.</p> |
