The invention relates to a toothpaste composition for whitening teeth which contains 2-30wt% of zeolite, 0.5-30wt% of a protease and 1-40wt% of a peroxide, and optionally an abrasive and a fluoride. The toothpaste composition is excellent in removing stain of tooth surface and dental plaque in a short period of time.
