The compressor has a housing which encloses two scrolls (24) which mesh to form a compression chamber. The scrolls seal against each other's base (12) surface and are moved relative to each other by a drive. The sealing ends (28) of the scrolls possess lubricant distributors (100). These distributors are supplied through a channel (106) through the scroll's wall. They are preferably recesses or grooves (102) in the scroll ends.
