The lintel reinforcement (1) comprises a shield layer (2) which is connected via connectors with a horizontal reinforcement. The connectors comprise a hooked bent panel (4). A fastening (5) is connected to the hook part of each panel. The fastening may be U-shaped and has a thinner wall thickness than the hook shaped panel. The panel and the fastening are connected via contact points (8).
