The vending machine includes a mechanical coin count arrangement, which contains a control mechanism for a product ejection from the vending machine in dependence on a count result of the coin count arrangement. The control mechanism (50) contains a magnetically activated switch (24) which is arranged for operating an adjustment arrangement (43) for a product ejection. The magnetically activated switch is preferably a reed switch, and a magnet (22) is provided, which is positioned relative to the switch (14), for operating the magnetically activated switch.
