Process and assembly to remove organic pollutants from soil

Process and reactor assembly (3, 22, 23, 25, 26) render harmless organic pollutants in soil. The contaminated soil is held at the maximum level of moisture content consistent with the promotion of micro-biological activity and is gently mixed for a short period, followed by a longer period of rest, this cycle is repeated a number of times in the reactors. The temperature, pH, nutrient, pO and humidity levels are optimised to maximise the micro biological digestion of organic soil pollutants.
