Temporary telecommunication connection set=up method

The method involves setting-up a connection to an automatic switchboard which is located between two subscribers. The automatic switchboard is assigned to the subscriber by whom the lowest costs occur under consideration of the direction of the cheapest connection set-up. A data string is generated by the terminal of the calling subscriber and consists of the source and the destination telephone numbers. The string is transmitted to the automatic switchboard which sets up a connection in accordance to the source and destination telephone numbers.
