A frame structure comprises a plurality of base units (A) each comprising in turn three elongate compressed members (1) disposed so as to intersect one another and each having a first end portion and a second end portion, first tension members disposed so as to be extended between the first end potions of the respective compressed members (1) in such a manner as to form a first triangular plane (3), second tension members (4) disposed so as to extend between the second end portions of the respective compressed members (1) in such a manner as to form a second triangular plane (5) opposite to the first triangular plane (3), and third tension members (6) disposed so as to extend between the first end portion of one of the compressed members (1) and the second end portion of one of the remaining compressed members (1) in such a manner as to form a self-supporting structure, wherein the plurality of base units (A) are continuously disposed by using one of the compressed members (1) of one of the base units (A) as one of the compressed members (1) of an adjacent base unit (A).
