The invention concerns an optical sensor (50) for tracking an aiming mark (10) using an optical radiation source (6) and a high-sensitive resolution optoelectronic detector (7). To guide the radiation beam, optical elements (2a, 2b, 2c, 3a, 3b, 3c) are integrated monolithically on or in a base body (1). The radiation beam is directed from the base body (1) and is reflected by the target (10) before it is again received by the base body (1). The monolithic integration of the optical elements (2a, 2b, 2c, 3a, 3b, 3c) enables the tracking sensor (50) to be miniaturized, thus reducing manufacturing costs and weight and consequently improving tracking speed, space requirements, stability and manufacturing reliability. The optical elements (2a, 2b, 2c, 3a, 3b, 3c) may be reflective, refractive or diffractive. Moreover, instead of the radiation spot (20) an intensity pattern may be generated on the detector (7) by a monolithically integrated optical element, thus improving the accuracy of measurement and coverage of the tracking sensor (50).
