The appliance has a cap (4) which can be inserted in the end (3) of the conduit (2) and can be coupled to the cable (1). The cable is fed through a guide channel (9) in a seal (8) which seals off the end of the conduit and a pressurised gas pipe is connected to a gas channel (10) in the seal. The gas can be compressed air supplied to a gas pistol connected to the gas channel whilst the gas and guide channels can be formed by a common boring in the seal. A coil of the cable can be housed on the gas pistol. |
