The illumination device has a light source (2) for emitting copying light, a light mixer (4) and a system which feeds the light from the source to the mixer. The light feed system contains a deflection mirror (3) which is essentially transparent in the infrared wavelength range and whose reflection characteristic in the visible range has three spectrally narrow band maxima lying in the wavelength regions of red, green and blue light. |
