The horizontal compressor is characterized by generating N compressed image data with N image data by comprising: a means generating N image data in the compression range by delaying the received image data; a means attenuating the delayed data in the compression region; a means generating M correction data to compress horizontally by adding the attenuation data in the central position with the attenuation data in the previous and post position; and a compression means generating M compressed image data by selecting the above correction data in sequence.
