The cut-off includes a rectification circuit (T,D1,D2) which forms a given current. A low pass filter receives the first current and provides a second current to the feeder output. A controller includes a comparator which monitors the first current. A blockage signal is supplied to the rectification circuit when the first current is at least equal to a reference value. The controller includes a by-pass device which operates on the reference value for a given period of time when a blockage signal is sent. An inhibitor (6,7) prevents the bypass from operating again during a second period of time after it operates on the reference value.
