PURPOSE:To improve a fixing rate by using a processing liquid contg. thiosulfate as a fixer and a specific compd. and having 5-8pH value. CONSTITUTION:The processing liquid contg. the thiosulfate as the fixer and the compd. expressed by formula I and having 5-8pH value is used. In formula I, R1-R4 respectively denote a hydrogen atom or alkyl group which may have a substituent. R1 may form a heterocycle in combination with R3. For example, ammonium thiosulfate, sodium thiosulfate, potassium thiosulfate, etc., may be used for the thiosulfate as the fixer. The amt. of the thiosulfate to be added is preferably 0.5-3mol, most preferably 1.1-2.0mol per 1l processing liquid. The fixing rate is increased in this way. |
