PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device in which a large door part and a sheet horn switch can be dispsoed on a ceiling part of a pad without an obstacle. SOLUTION: An air bag device 1 is so constructed that a horn switch 28 and a support plate 33 which has a support part 34 to which the horn switch 28 is fitted and has rigidity more than the pad 9, are disposed between an air bag 2 and a pad 9, and arranged in a steering wheel. The switch 28 and the support part 34 are shaped substantially equally to a door part 12 of a pad ceiling part 10 which can be opened and has a pressing projection 13 for switch operation. The support plate 33 is provided with a fitting leg 39 and fitted to a bag holder 19 by the fitting leg 39. A positioning recessed part and a positioning projection which engage with each other are respectively formed on the support part 34 and the door part 12, and a support projection 15 is brought into contact with the support part and the door part to form a designated space between the support part and the back of the door part. |
