PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously print a plurality of different data rows having format information on the same size paper without forcing the operator to sustain an excessive operational load by the use of a printing magnification altering means. SOLUTION: A determination is made whether printing is completed or not regarding all of data selected by a data selecting means 14. When printing is not completed, the format information of data rows is obtained from a format information storing means 13, and a determination is made whether an agreement is obtained or not between the paper size indicated by a paper size indication key and the format information corresponding to data rows. As the paper size and the format information agree with each other, printing is carried out by controlling a printing means 17 on paper with a paper size indicated by the format information, and if not, printing is effected by controlling the printing means 17 on paper with the paper size indicated through a contraction or expansion of the format information made in accordance with the paper size indicated. |
