PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the ascent and descent of stairs by superposing a foot panel on a mounting panel to fix either of them by using a hinge and forming a repulsion device held between the foot panel and the mounting panel. SOLUTION: A tread panel 1 and a mounting panel 2 are superposed on each other and either of them is fixed by using a hinge 4, and a spring 3 is nipped between the tread panel 1 and the mounting panel 2. A jump width adjusting plate 5 which adjusts the width of jumping between the tread panel 1 and the mounting panel 2 is attached to the tread panel 1 and the mounting panel 2 by a jump width adjusting device 8. Then, when a foot is put on the tread panel 1 to step on it, smooth stepping is possible due to the action of the spring 3 without causing resistance against a foot which steps on. Moreover, when force of the foot which steps on is loosened, the spring 3 jumps up to send the foot. Consequently, it is possible to reduce labor and obtain comfortable feelings. |
