PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device which can attain more ideal assist force characteristics and cost reduction with only first and second control parts. SOLUTION: The openings of A-D of variable throttles A-D, E-H formed into a rotary valve become small when the rotary valve operates and become small moderately after its operating angle reachesθ1 . The openings of the variable throttles E, F becomes small later than the first control part when the rotary valve operates, and become small moderately after its operating angle reachesθ2 larger than aboveθ1 . The openings of the variable throttles G, H become larger moderately when the rotary valve operates, and are kept open when its operating angle isθ2 or more and after the openings reachθ3 which is larger than those of the variable throttles E, F.
