PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact door lock device with a simple structure in which an outer handle can be rotated with a light force in the lock released state of a door. SOLUTION: This device is formed of an inner handle-side link 16 interlocked with the inner handle 32 of a door, an outer handle-side link 15 interlocked with the outer handle, a connecting plate 21 for mutually connecting both the links, and a cam plate 26 making contact with the connecting plate 21 by the rotation operation of a key cylinder 41. A pin 20 is provided on one of the connecting plate 21 and the outer handle-side link 15, and a substantially L- shaped pin hole in which the pin 20 is movable is provided on the other, so that the connecting plate 21 is connected to the outer handle-side link 15 through the pin 20.
