PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize the toner density all over the whole face on a light-sensitive body at all times and form an image of high quality. SOLUTION: A toner density section 24 is moved in the longitudinal direction of a light-sensitive body 1, and the toner density is measured for every light- emitting diode, and the light output for every light-emitting diode is varied in compliance with the measured value to remove the unevenness of toner density on the light-sensitive body 1 generated by the variation of light output with time for every light-emitting diode and the omission of toners caused by rubbing traces on a development roller 10 and uniformize the toner density all over the whole surface on the light-emitting body 1 at all times.
