摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate a shock attributable to a gear change during an acceleration period after a throttle operation, even upon the occurrence of a speed change with an automatic transmission, by changing slip control pressure so as to lower the tightening force of a lockup clutch, compared with the case of steady state control with a slip control means. SOLUTION: A slip control means 202 adjusts slip lockup control pressure PL/U, so as to keep a lockup clutch 31 at a target slip rotation speed NslipT within a preliminarily stored slip zone, during, for example, the decelerated travel of a vehicle with an accelerator released. A gear change process judgement means 206 detects the completion of bypass air volume control, and bypass air volume control is finished with a slip control pressure change means 204. After the lapse of the prescribed time therefrom, the slip control pressure is changed so as to lower the tightening force of the lockup clutch 31 more than the case of steady-state control with the slip control means 202, thereby alleviating the occurrence of a deceleration shock.
