PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a device while using a deodorizing catalyst and making a production with large specific surface area and furthermore at low cost by depositing a deodorizing catalyst and an adsorbent on a carrier by a binder of thermoplastic resin to form a deodorant. SOLUTION: This deodorizing device 1 is provided with an air intake port 2 and a dumping port 7. When a push switch 9 is turned on, power is supplied to a motor from a battery 6 or an external power terminal 5 fitted in a deodorizing case 1 by a control substrate 10. Malodorous air is sucked into a deodorizing case 1 from the air intake port 2 by a Silocco fan 3 rotated by a motor 4, and is deodorized while contacted with a deodorant 8 by that pressure. The deodorant 8 is manufactured by having cooper oxide and manganese dioxide which are a catalyst, activated carbon which is an adsorbent, and ultra high molecular polyethylene powder which is a binder suspended in water, applying them on nonwoven fabric which is a carrier, evaporating water, and at the same time, fusing the ultra-high molecular polyethylene powder between the catalyst, the adsorbent and the carrier. |
