PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the thickness accuracy and flatness of disc molded items by permitting cooling to be executed appropriately. SOLUTION: The mold includes a stationary platen 71, a movable platen 81 being disposed movable forward and rearward, a stationary side circular disc plate 16 secured to the stationary platen 71, a movable side circular disc plate 36 to be moved forward and rearward opposite to the stationary side circular disc plate 16 and defining a cavity space C between it and the stationary side circular disc plate 16, a stationary side intermediate plate interposed between the stationary platen 71 and the stationary side circular disc plate 16, and a movable side intermediate circular disk plate 36 interposed between the movable plate 81 and the movable side circular disc plate 36. In addition, a cooling circuit is formed on at least the stationary side intermediate plate and movable side intermediate plate for supplying a cooling medium in the cooling circuit. |
