PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a lap for welding and to improve appearance of a joint by a method wherein the end parts of two sheet materials each with a heat- weldable synthetic resin layer are laminated so as to make their surface sides inside and arrange approximately one end faces and the end faces of these laminated end parts are welded by heating. SOLUTION: Two sheets of sheet materials 11 and 21 are faced together so as to make their surface sides 11A and 21A inside and one end parts 12 and 22 are laminated together so as to arrange approximately their end faces 12A and 21A. In addition, the sheet materials 11 and 21 respectively consists of a single layer of a thermoplastic resin sheet and the whole sheet materials 11 and 21 are heat-weldable synthetic resin layer. In addition, pinched end parts 12 and 22 are pinched by means of holding tools 31 and 32. The holding tools 31 and 32 can consists of such tools that pinch the sheet materials and in general, a press device wherein the lower side holding tool 31 is a base and the upper side holding tool 32 is a press member being movable up and down can be used. This pinching is performed so as to project a little the end faces 12A and 22A from the holding tools 31 and 32. |
