PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously, efficiently and stably produce smooth foam free from heating irregularity, color irregularity, thickness irregularity and unevenness and good in thickness accuracy by using a foaming sheet guiding equipment at the inlet part within a foaming region. SOLUTION: In an apparatus for producing polyolefinic crosslinked foam, a foaming furnace is constituted of a preheating region preheating a foamable resin compsn. sheet 6 to temp. immediately before the start of foaming and a foaming region 2 wherein the temp. of an atmosphere or that of a heating medium is set to the decomposition temp. of a foaming agent or higher. The foamable resin sheet 6 is gradually foamed on the heating medium 4 of the foaming region 2 to become foam 6'. A guide plate 6 guides the foamable resin compsn. sheet 6 to the central part of the foaming furnace at the inlet part of the foaming region 2 to prevent the oblique running or meandering of the foamable resin compsn. sheet 6 in the foaming region 2. Therefore, smooth foam free from thickness irregularity and good in thickness accuracy can be manufactured. |
