PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording device of a compact, new constitution for using properly the black printing and the color printing. SOLUTION: The single color black printing and the color printing using yellow, magenta and cyan are used properly by fitting a black printing head 50B or a color printing head 50YMC and replacing one with the other on one carriage 60. In the color printing, black is provided by mixing yellow, magenta and cyan all together, and the pixel diameter on a body to be recorded formed by one drop of ink at the time of color printing is smaller than the pixel diameter at the time of ink color black printing. Paper feed cassettes 61 and 62 are provided so as to use them properly in compliance with the printing modes (black and color). |
