PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely form holes in the desired shape and dimensions by forming a ceramic compact with holes, inserting cylindrical bodies made of a high m.p. material into the holes, firing the compact and drawing out the cylindrical bodies after the temp. of the resultant sintered compact lowers. SOLUTION: Ceramic powder is compacted to form a ceramic compact 1' with holes 4a, 4b. Cylindrical bodies 8 made of a high m.p. material such as Ti, Cr, Mo or W are inserted into the holes 4a, 4b and the ceramic compact 1' is fired to produce a ceramic sintered compact 1. After the temp., of the sintered compact 1 lowers and gaps are left between the holes 4a, 4b and the cylindrical bodies 8, the bodies 8 are drawn out of the holes 4a, 4b. |
