PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily produce an open cell type polyurethane foam extremely slight in depletion of the ozone layer, having finer and uniform foams, soft touch to the skin, no dry feeling and silky touch of a high-quality feeling. SOLUTION: In this method for producing a non-rigid polyurethane-based foam by reacting a polyisocyanate with an active hydrogen to be reacted with the isocyanate group of the polyisocyanate in the presence of a blowing agent, the blow agent is a fluorocarbon having <=15 (usually 5-15) dyne/cm and <=15ppm solubility of the blowing agent in water and the non-rigid polyurethane- based foam is an open cell type. The foam has >=10 foams/mm<2> per unit area, a circular or an approximately circular cross-sectional shape of the cell and 50-300μm cell diameter. |
