PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the irregularity of thickness in a lateral direction by tentering a foamed sheet as compared with the lateral expansion quantity of the sheet. SOLUTION: By setting the taking-over speed of a taking-over pinch roll 80 faster than the speed of a sending-out pinch roll 20 with respect to longitudinal expansion and elongation, longitudinal expansion and elongation under own wt. are absorbed to adjust a foamed sheet 11 so as not to slacken the same. Since wavy longitudinal wrinkles 12 caused by lateral expansion are generated in the foamed sheet 1 fed out of a heating foaming furnace 30, the foamed sheet is tentered by the lateral expansion quantity by a wrinkle removing device 40 and the lateral expansion quantity is absorbed to remove the longitudinal wrinkles 12 of the polyethylene resin foamed sheet 11. By the tentering due to the tentering apparatus 50, the foamed sheet is tentered as compared with lateral expansion quantity and made slightly thin laterally to be uniformized. |
