<p>The present invention is a bulk storage facility (12,16,18,20) having a reclaim system (10) for providing a continuous controlled feed of difficult to handle cohesive materials (A) characterized by their tendency to pack together to form relatively self-sustaining walls which are substantially resistant to avalanching. The system (10) comprises a reclaimer (14) that passes over the top surface of a mound of material (A) collecting an infinitely variable depth of material (A) and conveying the material (A) outwardly to a collection conveyor (22,24,26,28) located at the periphery of the mound's base (16).</p> |
