PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely start an air bag device even when one of right and left impact detecting means gets out of order. SOLUTION: Air bag control units 16, 18 where G sensors 16B, 18B are stored are disposed in right and left center pillars. The control units 16, 18 are respectively connected to a floor control unit 20, and the floor control unit 20 is connected to right and left air bag devices 28, 34. In the floor control unit 20, if one of right and left G sensors 16B, 18B gets out of order, a minus threshold lowered than the plus threshold is set, and when the minus impact of the G sensor which is not out of order reaches the minus threshold, the air bag device of the side where the sensor gets out of order. |
