PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and safe lipase activity promoter, in addition, an external preparation for skin or a bath medicine or beverage and food products. SOLUTION: The lipase activity-promoting action is confirmed on one of two or more kinds of the extracts from coffee tree, back of Eucommia ulmoides, fruit of Zizyphus vulgaris, chlorella, green laver, sea tangle, Undaria pinnatifida, giant kelps, Hizikia fusiforme (a brown alga), fucus, Cyrtymenia sparsa (a sea weed), agar agar, Meristotheca papulosa, Eucheuma muricatum, Chondrus ocellatus, Chondrus elatus, Gigartina tenella, Acrosorium yendoi and the selected extracts are used as a lipase activity promoter, further used in external preparations for skin, bath medicines or beverage or food products. The selected extracts can be utilized as a lipase activity promoter to suppress skin and scalp lipid, and is effective for prevention and treatment of oily skin diseases, for example, acne, seborrhoeic dermatitis, seborrhoeic alopecia or dandruff disease. This promoter promotes the hydrolysis of lipids to reduce excessive lipids in a body. In addition, this agent is of high safety in any cases that it is used internally or externally. |
