PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a semiconductive member low in hardness, with its electrical resistivity in semiconductive region controllable without any variation, and useful for image formation devices, etc., comprising an elastomer, carbon black and a metal oxide having a specified electrical resistivity in specified proportions. SOLUTION: This semiconductive member comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of an elastomer such as epichlorohydrin-based rubber, (B) 0.5-60 pts.-wt. of carbon black such as acetylene black (the particle size of its primary particle agglomerate is pref. 0.001-10μm) and (C) 10-200 pts.wt. of a metal oxide such as Al-doped ZnO with an electrical resisitivity of 10-10<10>Ω.cm (the primary particle size is pref. 0.01-10μm). A semiconductive roll can be obtained from a core metal and an elastic layer covering he circumference of the core metal and obtained by molding this semiconductive member. |
