PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new insecticidal composition having high control effects on insect pests resistant to various existing chemical agents at saved doses and in the saved number of spraying treatments by using a specific carbamate compound and specific live spores. SOLUTION: This insecticidal composition comprises S-methyl- N-[(methylcarbamoyl)oxy]thioacetimidate (referred to as mesomile) and the live spores of Bacillus thuringiensis. The live spores of the Bacillus thuringiensis are preferably the live spores of Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. israelensis. In the composition, the live spores of the Bacillus thuringiensis are usually compounded in an amount of 0.05-3 pts.wt., preferably 0.1-2.5 pts.wt., per pt.wt. of the mesomile. |
