PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition having high friction coefficient and high abrasion resistance on an ice surface of both wet and dry state. SOLUTION: This rubber composition contains a rubber component consisting of at least one kind of diene polymer selected from natural rubber, isoprene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, butadiene rubber and isobutylene-isoprene copolymer and the rubber matrix contains foamed bubbles coated with a coating layer. The coating layer has a JIS-C hardness of >=75 and is formed in the foaming process with a resin or a resin composition having particle diameter of 10-200μm, containing >=10wt.% of a conjugated diene component in the resin component, co-crosslinkable with the rubber component and compounded in an amount of 2.5-20 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the rubber component. |
