PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-impact styrene resin composition having an excellent balance between gloss and impact strength. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by solution-polymerizing at least one conjugated diene monomer and at least one aromatic vinyl monomer in the presence of a polyfunctional organolithium compound having a molar ratio of the polyvinylaromatic compound to an organolithium compound of 0.1-2.0 (in terms of a ratio of the polyvinylaromatic compound to the lithium atoms) and contains 2-25wt.% aromatic vinyl/conjugated diene block copolymer having a weight-average molecular weight of 80,000-650,000 (in terms of polystyrene as measured by gel permeation chromatography), a content of the aromatic vinyl compound of 3-20wt.%, based on the copolymer, and a content of the aromatic vinyl compound forming blocks of at least 50wt.% based on the total content of the aromatic vinyl compound of the copolymer. |
