PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a honeycomb panel by minimizing to the utmost the amount of a cladding material or of a brazing material to be used, braze uniformly both surface plates and a honeycomb core material, or both surface plates, a honeycomb core material and a frame material, and improve the quality and yield of the panel. SOLUTION: In manufacturing a honeycomb panel provided with upper and lower surface plates 1, 2 and a honeycomb core material 3 comprising an aggregate group of a large number of cylindrical core base materials 3a interposed between these surface plates 1, 2, a large number of cylindrical core base material 3a having no brazing material layer are brought into contact with one another and disposed on the upper face of the lower surface plate 2 provided with a brazing material layer 4 on the upper face thereof, and the upper surface plate 1 provided with the brazing material layer 4 on the lower face thereof is allowed to abut against the upper faces of the cylindrical core base materials 3a. By heating both the surface plates 1, 2 and the cylindrical core base materials 3a, both the surface plates 1, 2 and the cylindrical core base materials 3a, and also the cylindrical core base materials 3a themselves, are brazed into one body. |
