PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tone demonstrating method by an ink jet recording head which can demonstrate smooth and wide range of tones and also provide an ink jet recording head. SOLUTION: Dots are formed on a recording medium by using selectively a plurality of inks of different density, and the tone demonstration is performed by varying at least either one of dot diameter or dot density. At least a first head section 10 and a second head section 20 are provided in a tone demonstration method, and respective head sections 10 and 20 are provided with ink cavities 11 and 21 for storing ink, nozzles 14 and 24 for jetting ink drops out of the ink cavities 11 and 21 and piezoelectric actuators 15 and 25 for jetting ink drops out of the nozzles 14 and 24, and the method is applied to the ink jet recording head 1 with respective head sections 10 and 20 having the ink cavities 11 and 21 storing inks of different density respectively. |
