PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal the opening of a container in an airtight state. SOLUTION: An O-ring 31 is held at an upper corner on the inner peripheral surface of a cap 21 through an inward holding rib 21b. When the cap 21 is mounted on the opening 11c of a container, the O-ring 31 is nipped and deformed between the tip of the opening 11c and the ceiling surface of the cap 21 to seal the opening 11c in a state brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cap 21 in an airtight state.
