PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate manufacture and improve strength in an appropriate fitting guide type male/female coupling device by which the pin holes of both male and female couplings are certainly matched to each other so that a cotter pin can be inserted when the male and female couplings are fitted to each other. SOLUTION: This coupling device is equipped with a male coupling 9 having a plug and a female coupling 15 having a plug and a socket 16 freely fitted and detached to/from the female coupling 15, and cottering pin holes opened in a cross direction, are arranged in the plugs and the socket 16. In this case, the plugs and the socket 16 are respectively formed into uniform cross sectional shapes over the whole axial length by cutting work, and also these cross sectional shapes are formed into non-circular shapes which can be fitted to each other only when the mutual pin holes 12 of the plugs and the socket 16 are matched to each other. |
