PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a racket frame, with which weight is reduced, rebound performance is high, and further, vibration absorbability, durability and controllability can be improved as well, suitable for high-level players as well by peripherally extending a groove at least around a face part on the side of a gut face and providing a vibration absorbing member inside this groove. SOLUTION: A racket frame 1 made of titanium has a face part 2 forming the gut face by spreading gut, shaft part 3 communicated to the face part 2, and grip part 4 communicated to the shaft part 3. Then, grooves 2a-2e are peripherally extended around the face part 2 on the side of the gut face at least, and a vibration absorbing member 7 is provided at one part inside these grooves 2a-2e. As a result, even when the racket frame 1 is tried to be lightened by reducing thickness, since rigidity is improved by providing the grooves 2a-2e on the peripheral face, rebound performance is high and torsion is a little. Besides, since the vibration absorbing member 7 is provided at least, vibration absorbability is improved as well. |
