PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a resin film excellent in thickness accuracy over the total width of a cap. SOLUTION: In a resin film producing line, the slit gap adjusting bolt 12 provided to a cap 1 emitting a thermoplastic resin is connected to a drive motor 23. The drive motor 23 is operated by the command value from a motor control unit 31 and the command value is operated by taking the thickness irregularity data in the width direction of the film measured by a motor controlled thickness meter 33 in an operation part 30. The rotary direction and quantity of rotation of the drive motor 23 are controlled on the basis of the command value of the motor control unit 31.
