<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier excellent in economics which is not required to be refilled with a desiccant and whose structure is simple and which is inexpensively manufactured and performs efficiently dehumidification with saved energy and moreover performs the dehumidification and the regeneration of the desiccant at the same time. SOLUTION: In a vessel body 12 having a suction and exhaust port 21 and a discharge port 23 for steam 26, a desiccant 13 consisting of a deliquescent chemical is housed. The vessel body 12 is divided into a dehumidifying part 15 and a regenerating part 17 by a partition plate 14, and a communication part 19 is formed below the partition plate 14 by which the dehumidifying part 15 and the regenerating part 17 are separated. In the regenerating part 17, a heater 25 as a heat source is installed, and by the heater 25, moisture absorbed by the desiccant 13 is evaporated, and the evaporated moisture is discharged form the discharge port 23 for steam 26 to regenerate the desiccant 13.</p> |
